A Cycladic Experience

Building on that community spirit of our village, our guests will have the chance to explore in a playful way, parts of the Cycladic history and culture, taste great local food and wine, listen to live Cycladic music played by talented local musicians, create and share stories and why not have an impromptu dance.

Some mild and fun research will be carried using mobile devices, facts will be shared and our bag of Cycladic curiosities will be explored in order to allow room for stories to be created and shared. This experience is ideal for couples, families, group of friends. Amazing, local wine will be paired with great tasting cheese from Syros and other local delicacies. Whilst spirits are lifted high with music, creativity and laughter, our guests will discover the true meaning of Syros, that derives from the Phoenician ‘ousyra’ or ‘ousoura’ which means ‘happy’. A goodie bag for every participant , filled with local delicacies and treats will take tis experience a little further even when you leave our village.

At Anassa Cycladic Village, the core of our philosophy is that we are a family run village. We are a family of romantics, dreamers, engineers,  travellers, sailsmen, designers, architects and amateur cooks, book lovers , fun loving, loud, nature lovers and  gardeners.

We decided to bring our passions, crafts, skills and knowledge together into this project that we designed and built ourselves step by step, tree by tree with lots of effort and love.

Born and raised by the Aegean Sea, we all travelled the world for our studies, adventures and work. Our common love for our island, for Cycladic life and history, nature and hospitality brought us together again to fulfill our childhood dream to create a sustainable community that will grow and grow and grow for generations to come.
