Grammata Bay Panorama extended
Experience hosted by Dimitris

What you'll do
Our route starts from the tiny settlement of Kambos, in Apano Meria; we follow the popular path to the beach of Gria Spilia, in Grammata bay. On our way, we meet the old marble quarry and hear the story of John Pierson (aka the American) who bought a huge piece of land and planted thousands of trees.
After a short brake in Gria Spilia beach, our path continues to the small beach of Grammata and from there to the cape, where we can see the inscriptions, carved on the rocks by ancient sailors as thanksgiving to the Gods for saving them from heavy weather.
We return to Gria Spilia and continue to Marmari beach, with the turquoise waters, where we can swim. On our way back, we will have the chance to see an abandoned old house, before we reach the marble quarry and the last part of our route.
