This is not just a yoga session.

It’s a moment of stillness within your holiday, a space where the body softens, the breath deepens, and time gently slows down.

We begin with a mindful yoga practice grounded, flowing, or deeply restorative depending on your needs. Moving with the breath, you gradually attune to the gentle rhythm of the island: the breeze, the warmth of the sun, the light dancing on the sea.

Then, you are invited to lie back and surrender into a meditative sound journey. Healing vibrations from Tibetan singing bowls, crystal bowls, and other traditional instruments begin to wash over you. Among them, the rare and subtle sound of Kenari nutshell wind chimes from Indonesia, delicate and organic, like wind moving through trees adds a layer of natural serenity.

These carefully selected sounds don’t just relax the body …they reach deeper.

They help clear mental noise, regulate the nervous system, and invite a profound sense of calm and emotional clarity.

Held in the nourishing energy of the Aegean, this experience becomes a space for reconnection with yourself, with nature, and with something beyond words. It’s a memory that lingers long after you return home, not just of where you were, but of how you felt.

You can choose the yoga style that suits your mood or experience level:

  • Hatha for grounding & balance,
  • Vinyasa for fluid, energizing movement,
  • Yin Yoga for deep stretching and stillness.

Each practice is personalized and accessible to all levels, from beginners to seasoned practitioners.

Meet your host

Danai Yoga Syros

Born in Athens in 1989 and now a resident of Syros, her search for inner connection and expression through the body has been a source of inspiration since an early age. Her first steps were in the world of ballet and contemporary dance, where her body became a tool for self-expression and harmony. Yoga entered her life later on, but from the very first moment, it became an integral part of her daily routine, transforming movement into inner peace and connection.

Following this inner flame, she delved deeper into the paths of Yoga, meditation, and guided visualization. After the birth of her daughter, the path of teaching became clear. She trained in Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga (200 hours) under the guidance of her teacher, Evi Tassa, at Sahadeva Yoga Studio. Additionally, she has specialized in practices such as Aerial Yoga, Aerial Kids Yoga, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, as well as Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga, paying special attention to the needs of every age and stage of life.

At the core of every practice lies the breath, the prana, the vital energy that flows within us. Connection with the breath is what grounds us in the present and enhances the harmony between body and mind. For her, breathing is not merely a physical process, but a bridge that leads to calmness and inner balance. Focusing on prana in every class helps students realize their true nature more deeply and strengthen their personal energy.

In the enchanting island of Syros, where she now lives, she offers Hatha yoga, Yin yoga, Restorative yoga, and Gentle Yoga classes for all ages, with an emphasis on the connection between body and spirit. At the same time, she organizes wellness and rejuvenation retreats that combine the natural serenity of Syros with yoga practices. She also coordinates workshops and seminars related to yoga, delving into the philosophy and history of yoga and breathing techniques.

Her teaching philosophy is to create a space of love and mindfulness, where every student—from children to adults—can embrace their unique qualities and feel gratitude for their journey. Through this connection with prana and the principles of yoga, every person can experience their true essence and be inspired by their inner self.
